Sailing, Captaincy & Yacht Maintenance
Since 2013, sailing has been more than a passion — it’s a way of life. I’ve logged over 50,000 nautical miles on everything from offshore passages to remote expeditions, including multiple Atlantic crossings and a 4-month trip to Antarctica. I enjoy the challenge of rough weather, navigation, and weather routing, and I’ve skippered or crewed vessels in a wide range of conditions.
Off the water, I’m hands-on with yacht maintenance and restoration — working on GRP, wood, electrical systems, engines, and more. From fixing a bilge pump mid-passage to restoring classic yachts back to life, I like knowing how boats work — and how to keep them working. I’ve also shared my experience teaching sailing and theory, both on board and ashore.
